      Making new discoveries…when carrying out your own research you often do experiments that show new things. For that moment you could be the first person ever to see your discovery!

      Helping people.. i work as a scientist in a hospital diagnosing patients.. i love the fact science can help patients, for example diagnosing cancer early with simple screening tests!

      I really like that when I have a new idea or theory about how something works I get to go away and test it. As long as my Professor thinks my idea isn’t too crazy, and I think up a good experiment to test my theory, I can take my research wherever I like, which is exciting and scary at the same time!
