I have to use my knowledge of cancer biology and of cancer research to help the charity raise money so we can continue to fund scientists to research breast cancer.

If I didn’t do that then the charity may not be able to encourage people to donate money to breast cancer research and then very little would be done to help breast cancer patients.

I use science to come up with new experiments and to work out what I’m actually looking at!
Sometimes this means reading about other scientists work and trying to understand, sometimes I need to understand the practical side of science and use this to design experiments.
