      I’d feel chuffed to bits. It’s always lovely to win something! But I am thrilled to have taken part. I did this to share my knowledge of cancer. I work as a scientist diagnosing cancer and my husband was diagnosed with cancer last year. So I have seen the disease from both sides of the coin! Plus I think a lot of people think cancer is only dealt with by research scientists, but it’s the scientists in the NHS that work with diagnosing cancers. So I’ve enjoyed telling people about biomedical science.
