• Question: why dont the ocean freeze?

      It does freeze in certain parts but because the ocean and the seas contain salt it makes the freezing temperature of the water lower in certain parts. It can be -2’c but this varies depending on pressure, movement from ocean currents and thermal heat energy from ocean currents.
